Westport, CT – July 29, 2025 – Great Rock Capital, an asset-focused commercial finance company specializing in middle market lending, today announced that Jake Goldberg has joined the firm as a Managing Director of Originations. Jake will be responsible for expanding the firm’s private equity coverage in the New York metro area and covering deal referral sources across the New England region.  Stephen Shelton, Managing Director of Originations, will continue covering ABL Lenders, Investment Bankers, and Advisors in the New York Metro area, as well as all deal referral sources in Philadelphia.

Jake joins Great Rock with almost 15 years of experience in middle market lending. Most recently, as an Executive Director at J.P.Morgan, he led the capital markets efforts in asset-based lending where he specialized in structuring and syndicating asset-based transactions for public, private, and sponsor-owned businesses. Jake earned a B.A. in Economics from New York University and is in the Executive M.B.A. program at Yale University.
